Fall racing in Oak Ridge

ORRA's Secret City Head Race brings the characteristic festival atmosphere of fall racing to Melton Lake Park in Oak Ridge.

This two-day event features two independent 5k courses on the beautiful Clinch River/Melton Lake Reservoir. Both the Saturday downstream and the Sunday upstream courses showcase sweeping turns, bridges and colorful fall foliage. The schedule offers opportunities for Youth, Collegiate, Novice, Open, and Masters competitors and includes 3.2k race opportunities in the 8+ and 4+ events for our growing Under 15 participant category.
