Dogwood Juniors Regatta

The Dogwood Juniors Championship Regatta brings outstanding junior rowing competition to Oak Ridge, welcoming thousands of athletes, coaches, and families for a weekend of high-level racing on Melton Lake. This regatta continues to stand out as one of the premier spring championship events for junior rowers in the Southeast and beyond.

Crews travel from across the region and the country to compete over the full 2,000-meter championship course, racing in sculling and sweep events ranging from singles and doubles to fours and eights. The multi-day format features time trials, semifinals, and finals, creating competitive racing opportunities for athletes at every level – from novice rowers experiencing their first championship regatta to seasoned Youth competitors preparing for regional and national events.

The weekend showcases the depth and talent of junior rowing, with tightly contested races, impressive margins, and numerous personal best performances.
