Atomic Booster – A Path to Our Future. Summer 2020 Fundraising Campaign.
We have launched our newest fundraiser A Path to Our Future that will improve our boathouse facilities at the same time that we seek to offset some of the lost revenue from Spring Training and Regattas.
A Path to Our Future is a simple infrastructure project that uses donations for custom-engraved bricks that will create a beautiful and permanent path that begins at the 1x/singles bay and extends toward the river, replacing the existing gravel path.
Donors may select either 4×8 or 8×8 bricks, and provide custom engraving. Logos are available for the 8×8 bricks. This is a great idea for current and past members that want an easy way to include their family name in the ORRA legacy. Further, universities, clubs, teams, and corporations can ensure that their logo or message is prominently displayed.
The Atomic Boosters have sample bricks at the boathouse and have developed a flyer that donors can print out and return. Phase 1 is complete. Orders for Phase 2 are being accepted now. We accept checks or PayPal. The mailing address for the boathouse is on the campaign flyer (PDF).
We’ve set a total fundraising goal of $40,000. Watch our progress on the fundraising oar outside the boathouse.
